**Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LCSW, LMFT, or Psychiatrist) Part-Time**

**Job Description:**

Bella Vida Center is a crisis residential center and Anderson Creek is a social rehabilitation facility that specialize in the treatment and rehabilitation of clients with mental health illness. The 24-hour residential facility mission is to help clients to regain optimal functionality in order to reenter their community and live healthy independent lives. 

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will hold a valid LCSW, LMFT, or be a licensed psychiatrist, committed to providing compassionate mental health care to a diverse range of clients. As a vital member of our team, you will use your expertise to assess, diagnose, and offer therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve optimal mental health and wellness.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to gather information on clients' mental health and emotional states.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client needs.

- Develop treatment interventions that facilities' staff will follow to ensure that treatment goals are met.

- Monitor clients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

- Provide weekly individual & group therapy and counseling to clients.

- Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary.

- Provide monthly treatment reports on assigned clients.

- Develop discharge summaries/reports.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and continuity.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress as required by laws and policies.

- Stay informed of advances in mental health practices and incorporate evidence-based methods into client treatment.

**Qualifications:**

- Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or Psychiatrist is required.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultural contexts.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality protocols.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and using electronic health record systems.

Under the direction and supervision of the Head of Programs and CEO (Chief Executive Officer), the Licensed Mental Health Practitioner shall plan, organize and direct the clients’ nursing services of the facility.

**Working Hours:**

- Part-time with flexibility regarding working hours and schedules to accommodate client needs.

Duties:

  • Participates with the Program Director and/or Administrator and other management staff in planning and implementing the nursing services program.
  • Serve as a liaison between the SRF and clients’ physician/psychiatric or pharmacy on medication matters.
  • Makes sure that proper medication control protocols are followed in the facility.
  • Responsible for staff education, clients’ education, and in-service training on medication management.
  • Conduct group/activities sessions with clients.
  • Participant in interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Monitors processes and procedures related to medication management and compliance with industry regulations and other such duties as required by the Administrator.
  • Collaborate with the Administrator in tracking and monitoring all medications in the SRF.
  • Ensure detailed documentation of medications administered in a timely manner in accordance with DHCS regulations.
  • Ensure documentation and proper reporting to appropriate authorities are timely and accurate.
  • May act as Program Director to oversee the facility treatment and rehabilitation program.
  • Counsel clients in individual or group sessions to assist them in dealing with mental health illness.
  • Collaborate with counselors, physicians, or nurses to plan or coordinate treatment, drawing on social work experience and client needs.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress with respect to treatment goals.
  • Interview clients, review records, conduct assessments, or confer with other professionals to evaluate the mental or physical condition of clients.
  • Supervise or direct other workers who provide services to clients
  • Modify treatment plans according to changes in client status.
  • Assist clients in adhering to treatment plans, such as setting up appointments, arranging for transportation to appointments, or providing support.
  • Counsel or aid family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, or supporting the client.
  • Increase social work knowledge by reviewing current literature, conducting social research, or attending seminars, training workshops, or classes.
